I have enough posts on my blog reviewing this album that if I linked them all here I’m sure this would get flagged as a spam review.

Still, the title of one of them would pretty much sum it up: “Sweet Musicy Goodness!”.

I love this CD. After hearing Andy talk about it in concert I love the story that these songs weave from darkness to light and from sorrow to hope. I will warn you that some of the more rocking songs should not be listened to while driving as you will certainly start driving faster than you should! Early in the Morning is one of the best songs ever written. I literally listen to it daily since this CD was released. If you have not bought this CD yet then you should immediately.

I listened to these songs for months on shuffle on my iPod but only recently listened to the whole thing through. It is absolutely amazing. I love albums like this that sneak up on you. It’s the opposite of the albums you bought because of the one single that you listened to and liked the first 4 listens… but they grew old quickly. This one grows on me every time. “Marilyn” haunts me. “Just a Kid” is honest and raw. Mr. Osenga manages to pull off not-quite rhymes and odd phrasing in a way that leaves the music and lyrics fresh and attention catching. This is my favorite sleeper album of this year.
