That weekend went very fast
Yeah, it was a pretty fun show. Loud and raucous, like they should be. Thanks to everybody who came out and listened to us. And much thanks to MusicCityUnsigned for coming out to film and featuring me next month. Also, thanks to Zach Delph for unknowingly providing me with this photo via facebook.
And major, major thanks to my band, one of the finest in town: Paul Eckberg, Jeff Irwin, Nick Flora (as played by Kevin Mann) and the legend of Randall Goodgame, playing keys for the first time in a rock band in over a decade. Great musicians, great people and great friends. It’s a joy and an honor.
I’m in the studio today with Lindsey Jones and tonight I’ll be arm-wrestling with photoshop in hopes of having Letters 2 ready for you in the morning.

Letters ready in the morning? Wow. I am really looking forward to that. I liked the first EP a lot. I still need to send you a donation for that. I was fairly broke at the time though. This time, this time.
It was cool that I actually knew about this one in time to send you a lo-fi recording…i’m guessing the only uke. ha
On another note, I remember Paul Eckberg from the short lived band Eager. The band had Patrick Andrew from PFR in it too. I was a huge PFR fan, so of course I had to get my hands on the Eager music too. I keep seeing Paul’s name pop up associated with other artists I’m into now though. I even remember crossing paths with him a couple of times in a chat room quite a few years ago.

I feel so disconected with Andyland having had a wirlwind month…I’ve had to catch up on the blog and still feel behind. I’m dissapointed i wasn’t around to record for the part, but I’m really excited to see how it turned out!

OK, on another note, I noticed on 12th and Porter’s web site that a group of Square Pegger’s (Including AO), are playing this coming Sunday night (21st) at 8:00 PM. Is this accurate????? Because, for the first time in my life, I am in Nashville when my favorite local artists are playing and I really, really, want it to be true because I really, really, want to go. Please tell me it is true!
