It was a ton of fun to see you play this with the band and with derek doing the bgv. My friend I brought to the concert in NC leaned over during this song and said “I really like him!”

    The video is great too!

  2. Matt Wondra says:

Wow! Very nice. So much character and energy in that solo buildup at the end! Really nice solo!

    Cheers!

“We’re sorry, this video is no longer available”

The video was filmed in Dyersburg, TN on April 4th, 08.’

This song has been far and away one of my favorite.

rachel ten thousand angels is one of the encore songs they cut if the show goes overtime. hopefully it won’t.

  11. Michael Wallace says:

so that was just sick. Well done my friend. You have truly found your voice on the lead. I think I even saw Derek rocking out a little over there. he was doing some bald head banging.

  12. Jason Sessoms says:

    Really good stuff. Really…good stuff.

  13. David V. says:

when the solo started 3 minutes and 53 seconds in, and i noticed how much of the bar at the bottom of the player was still empty, i got really pumped because i knew my face was going to melt soon. so freaking good.

  14. Justin says:

Dude. Simply put I think you’re one of the best out right now… and you just keep getting better. Thanks.

  15. kyle says:

totally freaking awesome…..memories from the dallas show….

not to be greedy, but can anyone post video or audio of “hold the light”? another face melting experience as David V referenced above.

  16. Chris R says:

Great but my favorite part was the piano solo… well done Josh

  17. Lee Younger says:

Dang. AO and the D Webb. that was the bomb dot com forward slash awesome.

  18. Geof F. Morris says:

I’ve got both an audience recording and a soundboard feed of this show. I was shooting stills not too far from Dean’s video during this, too. I just haven’t had time or computing power to do this lately, but I’ll try to work it up this weekend.

  19. Josh Stockment says:

Yeah Geof, if you could get on that for us that’d be greaaat.

  20. Stephen says:

    Holy crap.

  21. david says:

    badass.

  22. jason says:

keep it clean. That is supposed to be b*dass.

  23. Jack Claypotch says:

Andy, incredible to me that you essentially came in to “replace” Derek with Caedmon’s…but in the oh so mysterious ways of God the two of you work together in an awesome and highly powerful manner…

Couldn’t tell from the video…which guitar was that…sounds great

    Jack

  24. chuck says:

They need to put that song on Guitar Hero

  25. jarred mccauley says:

That was crazy good. I like you in blue light.

  26. Bryan says:

Thanks for posting this, Andy! I’m the random guy from central Illinois who came up to you after the Austin show and talked about how much I loved hearing this song live. For me, this was the highlight of the night, so thanks for putting this up. Definitely going to share it with some friends.

  27. Don & Leah says:

Oh man, we can’t wait for Saturday’s show.

  28. Geof F. Morris says:

Oh yes … the audio I have, it sounds pretty solid.

Will be trying to get it done tonight, but I do have Game Seven of Bruins-Canadiens to watch tonight, and hockey is more important than Andy Osenga.

    Really.
