A drive with old friends
In a hotel just North of Indianapolis. I’m with Eric and Jeremy, on our way to our show tonight at the Union in Naperville, IL.
Each the father of a 14 or 16 month old baby, we took the opportunity to sleep in. It was awesome.
The boys are talking about Jackson Browne and we’re about to hit the road to get the rest of the way to Chicagoland. Hoping for some good pizza after the show tonight. If you’re anywhere near (or you’re Chris Hubbs) we hope to see you tonight!

I was considering flying to IN to see my grandparents and then driving to the show, but I’m definitely not Chris Hubbs -so I’ll just have to wait for NC/SC/GA shows

I actually considered driving up for that show. I can see now that, with the weather, that wouldn’t have been any dang fun. Ah well, work keeps me chained down … you boys have fun!

Elizabeth – it’s Giordano’s; it is amazing; there’s one right by the Union; I had the pleasure of going there with Andy when he played the Union last year.

So last night at Giordanos I introduced myself to somebody and they replied “oh, so you’re the infamous Chris Hubbs!” I guess so.

Great show last night, I was there with my brother and my Dad. Listening to your music in person never ceases to inspire my walk as a father, husband and friend. “Early in the Morning” just may have begun to change my life in a BIG way. Thank you.
